New features are still being implemented and functionality is advancing, so you can expect Scoutline to keep improving in the near future. This page tracks what's actually shipped: dated and versioned, nothing padded in to make the list longer.
Nothing here is promised or scheduled, just the ideas closest to the top of the list right now:
Scoutline is no longer UK-only. US visitors now see US towns and USD pricing, with a region toggle to switch between the two, the same scanning, generation and outreach pipeline, now reaching businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.
Generated previews started pulling a business's actual logo and brand colours from their public presence, instead of a generic placeholder frame. ScoutCoins were renamed to Credits everywhere you see them, and yearly subscribers now get their Credits released monthly with rollover, rather than waiting a full year to spend the lot.
Signing in got a genuine one-click option alongside email and password: Google sign-in, no new password to create and no code to wait for.
Scoutline opened a genuinely free way in: a 7-day self-serve trial with no card needed to start. It doesn't spend a real generation: it hands you a ready-to-use AI prompt document instead, but it's a real, no-risk way to see whether Scoutline is worth paying for.
Outreach drafts now auto-fill a business owner's real name, email and phone number when we can find them published, one less thing to look up by hand. Every generated preview also picked up a "Download as HTML" button, so you can keep a copy without needing us at all.
The signed-in dashboard got its own dark theme, matching the toggle already on the marketing pages. You can now also cap how many new leads a single scan is allowed to keep, instead of it claiming everything it finds.
Before generating a site, Scoutline now checks what a business actually does rather than guessing from the trade you searched: a training centre or a "solutions" company gets looked at properly instead of assumed. Real customer reviews can now be quoted on generated sites too, always verbatim and attributed, never invented.
Contact forms on the sites Scoutline delivers now work automatically, wired straight into our backend the moment a site is built. Neither you nor the business you're pitching has to configure anything for an enquiry to actually arrive.
Every account now gets email verification on sign-up and an optional two-factor code at sign-in, alongside proper account-management tools, changing your email or password no longer means starting over.
Scoutline's entire visual identity changed overnight, in the dashboard you work in and in every site we generate for a client. Out went the old gold-and-serif look; in came a near-black canvas, one sharp accent colour, and a cleaner typeface, everywhere the product appears.
Scoutline could now build a complete, multi-page site for a business, not only a single preview page. Alongside it came exclusive territories: lock a patch of businesses to your account so no one else on your plan can claim the same leads.
The first accounts opened, starting with a small group of beta testers on a one-time trial grant. Generating a site stopped being a black box, too: a live progress bar now shows a percentage and an estimated time remaining while your preview builds.
Currently scanning businesses across the UK. The core product launched in one piece: a scanner that finds local businesses without a working website, an AI generator that builds them a preview site, a plans-and-credits system with real billing, and the dashboard to run it all from.
